Flag of rising sun is floatting.

Soldiers are going to war.
Gen's father is feeling guilty.
Mother and father are
working at home during the night.
They are painting Japanese sandals.
Gen and Shinji are putting
their ears on mother's belly.
Midnight.
Moon.
Searching lights.
A candle is burning in the shelter.
Light blue sky.
The mother is falling down
to the ground.
The doctor is running.
Morning.
It stops raining.
A rainbow is appearing in the sky.
Gen and Shinji are eating
rice cakes on the roof.

There is only one plane in the sky.

It's getting smaller and smaller.
The city is covered with a big flash
in a moment.
Gen is looking up into the sky.
Everything is moving slowly.
And then flash.
The city is turning into
like a melting plastic.
Everything is turning to vapor.
A storm is taking away everything.
And then, a big cloud...
is formed.
Mushroom cloud.
Gen is coming to life under the rubble.
Half dead people are marching.
The father, Eiko and Shinji
are stuck between the house.
Gen's house is burning.
The gound is burning Gen's feet.
The mother's hair is
coming unbound by the wind.
The mother seems to
go mad seeing the burnt house.
The baby is going to be born.
So many people are getting burned.
The baby is taking her first bath.
Gen is crying
and holding up the baby.
Gen is calling all the names
of his family.
To the baby born in this hell...
the mother shows burning Hiroshima.
It starts raining.
Gen is running.

dying people.
A baby is crying because
her mother has no more milk.
Gen is walking in the rubbles.
So many worms on the dead bodies.
The mother is searching
for a lady with milk.
A baby is sucking
a dead mother's breast.
An angry lady...
is about to kill the baby.
But she gives her milk...
to the baby with tears.
A dead baby is laid down on the mat.
Hiroshima has broken down to ruins.
Gen has decided the baby's name.
He has some bald points
on his hair.
Atomic bomb Dome at night.
Another bomb is falling.
A big flash.
Father...
Shinji...
Eiko's skulls.
Gen is totally bald.
He is running his fingers
on his bald head.
Gen and his mother
are taking their meal.
Gen is starting to fight with a boy.
He looks like Shinji,
his died brother.
Gen is giving him a bowl of rice.
Ryuuta is eating it without chopsticks.
Red setting sun.
Gen and Ryuuta are walking
in a black marcket.
They are buying all
the milk of the shop.
They are running back home,
carrying the milk.
The mother is lulling the baby.

He don't want to play with Ryuuta.
His hat is blown off by the wind.
Gen's hair is growing again.
